1% Donation Match Terms and Conditions
Make a donation through CanadaHelps, using PayPal, to any of the six (6) eligible participating charities starting on Thursday, March 8, 2018 through Saturday, March 31, 2018, and PayPal will match 1% of every donation throughout the promotion (the "Offer").
The six (6) participating charities include: G(irls)20, Plan International Canada, Canadian Women’s Foundation, Dress for Success Vancouver, Immigrant Women Services Ottawa, Native Women’s Resource Centre of Toronto (collectively, the "Eligible Charities").
In order to receive this Offer, you must: a) have a US or Canadian PayPal account in good standing, and b) complete a donation on the CanadaHelps website, designating one of the Eligible Charities, using your PayPal account no later than March 31, 2018 at 11:59:59 ET.
By making a contribution you may receive a charitable tax credit to the extent allowed by law. No goods or services will be provided in exchange for your donation. The following transactions excluded from this Offer: any donation made when you are not logged into your PayPal account, or any donation made to another charity that is not participating in this Offer. Your donation will be received and receipted by CanadaHelps, a charity registered with the Canadian Revenue Agency (CRA), which permits donors to advise a regranting of their donations to qualified charitable organizations. You will receive an official donation receipt for income tax purposes for your gift from CanadaHelps. After the campaign has ended, CanadaHelps will disburse the 1% PayPal matching gifts to one of the Eligible Charities that you designated, using its standard disbursement process, no later than May 15, 2018. Payouts will be made by PayPal to charities that receive eligible matching gift amounts that sum $3.00 CAD or more.
